Hey! So I've decided to participate in NaNoWriMo this year!
I've wanted to participate the past two years, but haven't been able to because of school, the day job, life, etc etc. I wanted to participate this year, too, but I wasn't sure if I could swing it. But, I also knew if I didn't do it this year, it would be a couple years in the future before I could consider it because come January, I'm going to be picking school up again—full time. I've never done school full-time before, and I'm sure I'm going to be super swamped.
So! I decided to just go for it. We'll see what happens.
Also, my sister may or may not have helped me talk myself into it.
It went something like this:
I'm also doing something a little different with this project. I'm usually a 'tweener—I outline a little, I pants a little. I do have the beginning, middle, and end—all the BIG THINGS—planned, but other than that, I've decided to pants the whole thing. I wanted to do a whole no-idea-left-behind thing. I'm pretty excited to see what happens.
Are you NaNo-ing?! Buddy me at jessicahill! =D

Me: I already have TWO novels to edit. Do I really need another one? She's such an enabler, that one! Okay, maybe I didn't need much pushing, but. still. Seriously though, I don't know what I'd do without her. She also helped me decide which project to do for NaNo (I was tossing around three ideas).
Her: Of course!
Me: *taps finger to lip* You're totally right.
